Christina is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) with over 15 years of experience in therapeutic bodywork.
She spent 13 years teaching preschool-aged children before starting a family of her own. As she stepped away from the classroom to focus on raising her children, Christina began exploring a career that would allow her to continue caring for others while offering greater flexibility. Massage therapy emerged as the perfect fit, combining her passion for helping people with the work-life balance she desired.
Her passion for healing began in childhood, offering neck rubs to her grandmother, and evolved into a lifelong commitment to supporting others through touch. She formally pursued massage therapy after participating in a transformative two-hour group meditation focused on collective healing following the 2010 Japan tsunami—an experience that solidified her dedication to holistic care.
Christina is a graduate of the Salter School and is committed to ongoing professional development. She holds advanced certifications in Myofascial Release (MFR), Reiki, and Prenatal and Postpartum Massage. Her orthopedic massage training includes Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Cupping. She is also trained in Spinning Babies techniques and trained as a Massage Doula, supporting clients through pregnancy.
Currently, Christina works part-time at a wellness center in Arlington, Massachusetts, where she serves as Lead Master Therapist and Lead Practitioner Trainer. In these roles, she provides advanced therapeutic care while mentoring and training fellow practitioners.
Her approach to healing integrates both Eastern and Western philosophies, viewing the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected. Christina focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of discomfort rather than simply alleviating symptoms, creating personalized treatment plans that support long-term wellness.
Outside of her professional work, Christina enjoys singing karaoke, hiking, cooking, and creating handmade jewelry.
